Jesebel Gumogda, Pastry Chef and Owner

Jesebel was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to New York after she graduated from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, where she studied Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management major in Culinary Arts. Working alongside well-known chefs for 7 years, molded her into an experienced Pastry Chef with a demonstrated history of working in the restaurant industry of New York City. With an eye for detail, creative mind and great passion for pastry arts, she comes up with contemporary designs and irresistible but not overly sweet recipes. In 2014 she founded Pure Confections and started creating custom specialty cakes for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions.

Pure Confections specializes in handcrafted cakes and treats. Each creation is made from scratch using fresh and seasonal ingredients. With a goal to make each of your special occasions memorable, Jesebel strives to provide a well balance flavors and texture, outstanding designs with a contemporary twist tailored to your event, making each cake and treats unique.
